Frohsin & Barger Wins Summary Judgment in Civil Case Related to Embezzlement Scheme

Almost half a million dollars was embezzled from Braden Furniture in Trussville, Alabama, bringing the family owned and operated furniture company of more than 50 years to its knees. Now, pursuant to a motion for summary judgment filed by Frohsin & Barger, a Jefferson County, Alabama, court has established that liability exists for conversion of the money by the former employee insider who orchestrated the scheme. The total amount of the damages remains to be determined at a trial set for April 18.  Other related suits are pending.
